Peter Thompson is the Principal of Thompson Eslick Solicitors.

Peter spent his career specialising in commercial litigation and over his 41 years of practice, has acted in a number of high profile cases and inquiries.

Peter's expertise is in prosecuting and defending complex commercial litigation matters.

He has advised and appeared at many regulatory investigations and hearings. He is particularly known for his representation over the years of, what would likely be, hundreds of clients at ASIC interviews and examinations and at other ASIC-related litigation and hearings.

Peter's clients ranged from multinational corporations, listed and unlisted public companies, company directors and senior executives, to small family companies and individuals.

Peter enjoyed the reputation as a 'solid litigator' dealing proactively with the clients’ needs to provide timely, cost-effective and practical advice to acheive outcomes for his clients.  Peter fully retired from legal practice in 2023.
